Phoning: The landline may go straight to answerphone cos it's a noisy place & often we are deep in concentration.
Please leave your Name & Number so we can call you straight back - don't worry about leaving other information, we can sort it out on the return call. If you were recording you wouldn't want us to stop for the phone either!
The studio is on a farm, so we have made finding us easy for you, we strongly advise printing these in advance.
IMPORTANT : Our postcode is not specific to just our building - believe us now, or regret it later! Google maps has located BB Studio best & some SatNavs are still not accurate. These co-ordinates may help. X : 442512 Y : 282752
LASTLY: Please do not go into Nettle Hill Training Centre or knock on any private cottage doors!
The studio is in a converted single level barn & we respect our neighbours privacy, so please follow these directions closely!
To help there are 'bb' signs along the way, which are the BB Studio circle logo with an arrow for direction.
• Approaching from the North/East (M69 southbound)
Exit the M69 at the M6 intersection sliproad exit.
Follow the long slip road which goes round a big left bend & up to the main roundabout. At the roundabout take the 4th exit, signposted to Ansty. Be careful here, stay in the right hand lane or you'll end up back on the M69 !
• Approaching from the South or East (M1, M6)
Find your way to the northbound M6 and leave at Junction 2. At the roundabout take the 4th exit, signposted to Ansty. Be careful here, stay in the right hand lane or you'll end up on the M69 !
• Approaching from the West (M6)
Find your way to the southbound M6 and leave at Junction 2. At the roundabout take your 1st exit, signposted to Ansty. Be careful here, stay in the right hand lane or you'll end up on the M69 !
• From Coventry City Centre
Make your way towards the Showcase Cinemas at Walsgrave Triangle, at the north of Coventry, following to the M6. At the M6 / A46 island (M6 junction 2) take the 2nd exit going straight over the roundabout towards Ansty. Be careful here, stay in the right hand lane or you'll end up on the M69 !
• From Coventry East & CoventryAirport
Make your way toward the M6 along the newly built A45/A46 as appropriate. At the M6 / A46 island (M6 junction 2) take the 3rd exit over the roundabout signposted to Ansty. Be careful here, stay in the right hand lane or you'll end up on the M69 !
Follow the B4065 for exactly 1 mile, through ANSTY village to a right turn.
Here, turn right opposite Ansty Hall on to the B4029. (big black sign 'MacDonald Hotel')
Follow the B4029 for another mile, passing the Ansty Golf Centre on your left, to a huge bridge.
When you see this motorway bridge take the left turn ..... as directed by this sign:
Now, follow this road for a further & final 1 mile. First you will go uphill quite steeply (passing Nettle Hill Training Centre on your left) then keep going uphill further, towards & over a railway bridge with green high metal sides. After crossing this you have 1/3 mile to go, along a nice straight road between 2 fields - no stopping yet!
The cottage by these signs is nothing to do with the farm, so carry straight on, along the long straight road ahead between 2 fields, towards the big farmhouse on a corner. Now bear right & go over a shiny new cattle grid with electric metal gate then STOP.
You need to now turn sharp left into a blind corner (in front of the round-topped open shed with a closed end!) go up a ramp & into the quaint old farmyard.
Born in a Barn Studio is straight ahead of you. Welcome!
Park somewhere near the grey doors on the left.
(If you go any further than 50 yards after the cattle grid & find yourself going downhill, you are heading the wrong way. Things will get muddy & bumpy, then you will probably get grumpy!)
